A new documentary about INXS’ frontman Michael Hutchence is set to release next month, delving deep into his career, his life, and ultimately, his death. The director behind the film is Australian Richard Lowenstein, who first broke into the music scene by creating music videos for INXS, including ‘Burn For You’, ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ and ‘Heaven Sent’.
The film features never-before-seen footage, including Hutchence’s own home movies, that show the troubles Hutchence faced in his rise to stardom, his struggle to stay authentic while in the spotlight, and his evolution throughout his career.
The film will be released on July 5th, 2019.
