There’s nothing quite like true friends. From Demi Lovato and Christina Aguilera’s tight bond to Adam Levine and Blake Shelton’s spectacular bromance, we’re still in total awe of these iconic besties. In celebration of National Friendship Day, we’re diving into some of our favourite celebrity friendships! 🥰

Ellie Goulding and Katy Perry

In what might be the cutest friendships of the past decade, Elena and Kathryn’s close-knit bond is something we love to see!! This striking pair struck up an instant friendship and bonded over their shared experiences in the pop scene. Ellie spoke about their friendship in a recent interview with The Daily Mirror, “I’m lucky enough to be able to ask Katy for advice. And she is incredible at advice. She is funny, she has a great sense of humour. She will tell you how it is.” Just look at this adorable pic from Ellie’s wedding! 🥺

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton

No list about the top celeb friendships is complete without Shevine (the admittedly catchy ship name of Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and country megastar Blake Shelton). Becoming one of our favourite bromances of all time, Adam and Blake’s brotherly bond kept us hooked with many, many, many memorable moments on ‘The Voice’ and manifested into an even more amazing and often hilarious (just take a look at Blake’s Twitter 😂) off-screen friendship.

Demi Lovato and Christina Aguilera

Could anyone else match Demi and Christina’s pure vocal prowess? They need ZERO introduction. I’m pretty sure anytime these two legends enter any room the sheer VOCAL TALENT alone shakes the entire world. Since collaborating together on Xtina’s underrated banger ‘Fall In Line’ back in 2018, Demi and Xtina’s friendship continued to blossom into something truly special. Side note: Demi’s Bb5 note in ‘Fall In Line’ just hits different. Soak in it! 😘

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande

Teaming up for one of the most monumental collabs of 2020, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s friendship and genuine connection grew stronger with the release of ‘Rain On Me’ in May. In an interview with Zane Lowe, Gaga shared “…I was too ashamed to hang out with her because I didn’t want to project all of this negativity onto something that was healing and so beautiful. And eventually she called me on my s–t. She was, ‘You’re hiding.’ And I was … and then this friendship blossomed.” — Truly one of our favourite friendships! 👑

Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift

How could we not include our absolute faves on this list?! Since first meeting back in 2012, Ed and Taylor’s friendship has grown into the most magical thing. Almost eight years on and these besties still remain close with each other. And that’s not even mentioning the absolute BANGERS like ‘Everything Has Changed’ and ‘End Game’ they released together. We still have these classic tunes on repeat! 🔥

Elton John and Eminem

The Rocket Man’s unlikely friendship with Slim Shady is one that’s stood the test of time. First linking up for Em’s legendary performance of ‘Stan’ at the Grammy’s in 2001, Em and Elton’s friendship remains strong two decades later. Interview Magazine’s phone interview between Elton and Em shed more light on their close relationship, Elton shared “I’m so happy you exist in the world, and I’m just so proud of you. You’ve worked so hard on yourself, and no one deserves this more than you, Marshall, and I love you from a long way away, okay?”. Eminem replied “Thank you, Elton. I love you, too.” — Here’s to another decade of friendship! ❤️
