In case you missed it, the latest Triple J ‘Like a Version’ cover is taking over the internet. The whole world is talking about Denzel Curry (who played at Laneway Festival in NZ earlier this year) and his enigmatic rendition of ‘Bulls on Parade’ by Rage Against The Machine.

Curry, a pioneer of ‘Soundcloud rapping’ made a bold decision to cover an iconic rock band, but his energy and passion that goes into the performance completely does the original track justice. The YouTube video is now up to 1.6 million views, and it seems that people can’t get over how good the cover really is.

Some of the comments include “Best like a version in the past 5 years, easy’, ‘best thing on Triple J in almost a decade’, a simple ‘holy fuck this is good’ and our personal favourite, ‘just played this next to my fish, he is a shark now thanks’. Says it all really, doesn’t it?

Don’t just take their word for it though, check out the video for yourself.
