American three-piece rock band Haim has been hustling lately. With the confirmation that their new album arrives on June 20, titled I Quit, the last few months have been a busy time.
But what else have they been doing as they prepare for this fresh new era? We’re here to find out …
They’ve been releasing new singles ahead of the album
So far, fans have been treated to three tracks from I Quit: Relationships, Everybody’s Trying to Figure Me Out, and Down to Be Wrong. There are themes of self-discovery, introspection and struggling in a world full of external noise, to name a few. Sonically, both the singles and the album are a testament to the talent of Haim, alongside that of the renowned producer Rostam Batmanglij.
They’ve announced a new tour!
The I Quit tour has just been announced, with dates across the UK and America. It’s a quick start, as the album only comes out a week before they kick off the first date in Dallas. Not much time to learn all those new lyrics, but it’s sure to be an exciting experience for fans who attend. Haim are known for an electrifying stage presence, so it’ll be no surprise if these tickets sell out in record time.
.
There’s also suspicion that, with one of the dates being in Margate in England at the end of June, they may make an appearance at Glastonbury.

They’ve done some fun collaborations
The single release for ‘Down to Be Wrong’ features a familiar face in the music video in the form of actor Logan Lerman. Lerman stalks a quiet hotel room while the sisters mess with his things, but he’s unaware of his surroundings. It’s an interesting and haunting track, directly contradicting the chronology of their previous single’s video, Relationships, which also features American actor Drew Starkey.

They’re taking inspiration from iconic 2000s photos on IG
As part of the I Quit rollout, the band have been paying homage to some recognisable 2000s paparazzi images. From Nicole Kidman to Kate Moss, it’s certainly a clever and cheeky tactic as the album’s themes include celebrating freedom and the complexities of relationships.

They’ve been supporting their bestie Taylor Swift
During their musical hiatus, Haim joined Swift on the Eras tour in 2023 and 2024 for some show stops. They’re well-known friends and collaborators, having worked together on Swift’s album Evermore, and it seems like that friendship is still going strong. We love to see it!

Haim closed out the first weekend of the New Orleans Jazz Festival back on April 27, with some extra special surprise guests. Their parents, Donna and Moti, took to the stage with them for a special duet of ‘Mustang Sally’ for a heartwarming family moment. Donna also told the audience that she used to be in a family band titled RockinHaim – how cool!
Este is engaged!
Este announced her engagement to tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin on IG in February. It was announced with a photo showing off her ring while she wore a t-shirt with the phrase I’M TAKEN. The trio, alongside their significant others, tend to keep their private lives out of the spotlight, so this came as extra surprising news to fans. Congrats to the happy pair!
