Our fave pop princess has been killing the game recently, to the point where it’s hard to keep up! Between starring in the most-anticipated movie-musical of the decade, continuing to dominate the beauty game and delivering teasers of her latest era, Ari has been keeping us in the loop with her trademark personal photo dumps amidst all the exciting announcements. Earlier this year Ariana announced the release of her seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine coming March 8th. Fans had been dying for the unveiling of the latest era after Ari shared several muted videos of her in the studio, mastering vocals AND production, and had fellow celebs like Billie Eilish and SZA gagged alongside Arianators in the comments section.
Ari herself has hinted that the body of work is “kind of a concept album” in which we can expect to dance but also cry (our two favourite hobbies). We’re also obsessed with the fact that we don’t have to wait an *eternity* between the long-awaited album announcement and the big day!!

A huge part of the hype of AG7 were the cryptic posts Ari was dropping on her @sweetener Instagram account prior to the official announcements and lead single. The collage-style grid posts fueled fan speculation around the album title, after fan theories drew heartfelt connections between the upcoming work and odes to the late and legendary Mac Miller. Even though the album details have now been officially shared, we’re still obsessed with the visuals on here. We do in fact still stalk this account praying for more upcoming teasers despite the last post literally being a black square (…yes, and??). Don’t judge us ❤️
SHE’S PERFORMING ON SNL NEXT MONTH

We are INSANELY excited to witness Ari’s return to the SNL stage for the first time since the Dangerous Woman era in 2016. It’s unknown which tracks she might choose to perform alongside leading single ‘yes, and?’. It’ll be her third time on the show, and it’s also her first televised musical performance in over two years (a.k.a too long)!! We’re crossing our fingers for Ari to make a cameo appearance in the episode’s skits – quoting “Ariana what are you doing here??” live on air would be too much of an iconic opportunity to miss.
SHE DROPPED A ‘YES, AND?’ REMIX WITH MARIAH CAREY

Following the absolute colossal (and number one Billboard charting) reception of lead single ‘yes, and?’; Ariana has collaborated with her self-professed “one and only queen of my heart and lifelong inspiration” Mariah Carey to keep the good vibes going. Having two vocal queens on the same track did spark some memes about both of our girls battling for the harmonies, but we can’t help but blast the clean glassy vocals of the chorus on 100. There are also three other remixes of this leading bop on Ariana’s official YouTube channel that seem to have flown under the radar, and they are also NOT to be skipped. 👀

It’s no secret that the biggest focus for our girl Ari recently has been filming the adaptation of the legendary broadway musical Wicked! Personally, we’ve loved following the off-screen sisterhood between leads Glinda and Elphaba, a.k.a Ariana and co-star Cynthia Erivo. On her insta story, Ari shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how when the pair of besties are together, they’re always “in their own world” (same – so validating how celebs are just like us x). The two-part film directed by Jon M. Chu is set for its premiere in November 2024.

Ariana is officially the first female artist to have fourteen songs join Spotify’s insane and infamous ‘Billions Club’ for tracks that surpass one billion streams on the platform. To celebrate, she starred in the sixth episode of Spotify’s video series documenting the achievement, where she walks down memory lane for each of the history-making singles from the past decade. Spotify said NO MORE ‘Bang Bang’ erasure!! We are incredibly proud of our girl and it’s so special to be able to revisit the poignant pop cultural moments of Ari’s career thus far.

Behind-the-scenes clips uploaded to her Insta reveal the unconventionally short time frame this project was produced in, hinting at the special strike of inspiration that she’s packaged for us soon to witness and cherish in full. How often do you get a literal seat at the table during the meeting for an artist’s record label unveiling?!
