It’s a feat in one’s career to drop a greatest hits collection. Confidently knowing that you have a steady string of classics in your catalogue that deserve to be repackaged in a new album is one of the highest milestones artists can achieve. Then there’s the artists whose legacy is so legendary that they can successfully drop two. Eminem, by all means, is one of those artists.
A sequel to his incredibly successful Curtain Call: The Hits, which arrived in 2005, Curtain Call 2 is a collection of fan favourites from Eminem’s work since then, solidifying the rapper as influential in both eras of his life. Featuring hits from 2009’s Relapse and onwards, the album includes side-projects, guest appearances, film soundtrack songs, and selections from his solo albums.
Earlier this year on June 24, Eminem and Snoop Dogg teamed up to drop the track ‘From the D 2 the LBC’, a bicoastal track that paid homage to both their hometowns. Their first collaboration in 20 years, the track was produced by Eminem and written by the two rappers, and appears on the new greatest hits album.

Also appearing in the new collection is the unreleased ‘Is This Love (09)’ ft. 50 Cent, a nostalgic tune produced by Dr. Dre that seems to display the best skills from all three artists. The track was released as a single August 4 and joins Eminem’s collab with Snoop as a lead track off the album.
In addition to the standard release, there are limited edition coloured copies of Curtain Call 2 on vinyl, as well as packs with exclusive t-shirts available to purchase here.
