Following the incredible success of the Waiata / Anthems album in 2019 and the TV series earlier this year, this September Waiata Anthems Week will come to life to shine light on te reo Māori.
An industry-wide initiative, Waiata Anthems Week will be a celebration of the best new waiata and honour champions and pioneers of te reo Māori who paved the way for future generations, supporting the emergence of a truly bilingual musical landscape.
Waiata Anthems Week will run from Monday 6th September through to Sunday 12th September with a number of music releases and shows across Aotearoa (dates to come!).
