BENEE announced she’s touring New Zealand
Bring on October 2020! Our ‘Supalonely’ queen BENEE won’t be lonely no more as she is set to take the stage with four incredible shows around the homeland. The tour kicks off in Christchurch on Friday, October 2nd, with further shows in Dunedin on October 3rd, Wellington on October 9th, and Auckland on October 17th at the arena 🤯 (she is growing up so fast 🥺).
Tickets go on sale at 12pm Thursday, June 25 with Vodafone customers getting first access during the pre-sale starting at 10am Monday, June 22 until 10am Wednesday, June 24.

Drake leads The 2020 BET Award nominations 🏆
The BET Awards have announced their 2020 nominees and Champagne Papi leads the way in the music categories with a total of six nods, including Best Male Hip-Hop Artist. DaBaby and Nicki Minaj follow close behind with four noms each, Meanwhile, The Weeknd, who was just announced as a Long List nominee for the 2020 Polaris Music Prize, is up for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. The ceremony is set to take place on 28 June – good luck to all of our incredible nominees!

Anybody else internally screaming?! HAIM are the latest band to hit up NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk’
Our fave sisters Danielle, Alana and Este Haim performed three songs (remotely of course) for NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk’ concert series. The trio sang ‘The Steps’, ‘I Know Alone’, and ‘Summer Girl’ off their upcoming album Women In Music Pt. III set for release THIS Friday. So far, the band have treated us to seven songs off their new record, premiering another new track ‘Gasoline’ earlier this week via Instagram. They really know how to spoil their fans 🥰
Machine Gun Kelly released an acoustic version of ‘Bloody Valentine’
MGK has dropped an acoustic rendition of his chart-topping single, ‘Bloody Valentine’, along with a brand new music video. Directed by regular collaborator Sam Cahill, the video was shot in less than 10 minutes, showing MGK riding his motorbike to the top of a hill during sunset and ending in a solo jam session.

The Killers’ new single ‘My Own Soul’s Warning’ is here
Despite there still being no new release date for their upcoming album Imploding The Mirage, The Killers have released another new single, titled ‘My Own Soul’s Warning’. The band have described Imploding The Mirage as “the light after the dark; the overcoming of sadness and moving into celebration. It’s a record about eternal love, perseverance through hard times, and the strength gained from friendships and familial bonds whilst weathering a storm.”
