Simon Cowell is back at it again, with another era of creating fantastic boy band groups – this time with a squad of teenagers called December 10. They’re very much their own lads, though, and are ushering in a thrilling new phase of pop music together. Before they enter their superstardom era, we’re here to make sure our readers are the first to know all about them!
1. D10 were formed on a reality show
The band came together on the hit Netflix show, The Next Act, in 2025. Auditions were open to teenage boys between 16 and 18, with the show documenting the audition process and eventual formation of the band. While Cowell only intended to recruit 5 young lads, all 7 members stood out. Which brings us to our next point!
2. There are SEVEN members!
The members of the band are as follows: Cruz Lee-Ojo, Danny Bretherton, Hendrick Christoffersen, John Fadare, Josh Olliver, Nicolas Alves and Sean Hayden. They’re a multitalented squad: between them, they play an insane FOURTEEN instruments and can all harmonise beautifully. Although Cowell was the instigator for their origin story, it’s clear that this band’s talent was meant to come together.

3. They’re not sticking to one genre
The band’s musical influences are just as diverse as they are. From Daft Punk and Steve Lacy to Pearl Jam, to the Notorious B.I.G and Sabrina Carpenter, these are just a few of the band’s expansive references.

4. Their first (and second) singles are taking off
Via EMI Records, their first single, ‘Run My Way’, hit the airwaves on January 30. It’s highly energetic, catchy and with its anthemic feel, certain to become a legendary pop hit. They’ve since followed up with the stripped-back track called ‘Angel’.
5. They haven’t even got an album yet, and they’re generating massive success
Off the back of ‘Run My Way’, the band have announced that an album is in the works! They also confirmed in an interview that they’re soon embarking on their first tour across the UK and Ireland, titled Introducing. The tour of course *immediately* sold out. Boyband fever continues, it seems.

6. The band name emerged spontaneously
After a long day of vocal recording, the band were celebrating the release date of the show – December 10. With this being the band’s “birthday,” it felt right for the band to take it on as the name. Meaning the band is collectively Sagittarius!

7. They all have different forms of musical experience
Danny and Nicholas appeared on The Voice Kids 2023, Hendrick has been writing music for years, Josh had a massive following from performing online, Sean was in a choir, and John turned down a role in Paddington the Musical to audition. It can’t be said that they’re not impressive in so many ways!
8. The band have been in the rooms with some big names
December 10 have been in rooms with some of the biggest writers in pop, such as Savan Kotecha and Julien Bunetta, who worked with One Direction; and Rami Yacoub and Poo Bear (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga), and they’re learning a lot about composition. While they acknowledge that they have a lot to learn, they’re definitely learning from the best.

9. Their socials are exploding
Already, the band is speeding towards half a million followers on Instagram, have 4 million Tiktok likes alongside a whopping 190K monthly listeners on Spotify. Toyota has also used ‘Run My Way’ in an advert. Not many bands get a kickstart as these guys have, and their dedicated nature means they’re certainly using it to their advantage.
