It’s that time of year again, the 2019 Billboard Music Award nominees are out!
Among the artists battling it out for Top Artist is Drake, Ariana Grande and Post Malone. These three also are up for Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Song Sales Artist and Top Radio Songs Artist!! Did somebody say triple threat?
In the running for Top New Artist includes Ella Mai, Lil Baby and Juice WRLD. Its a good year for Juice WRLD who also was nominated for 6 more awards including Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Hot 100 Song, Top Streaming Song (Audio), Top Streaming Song (Video) and Top Rap Song.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are up for the Chart Achievement Award, Top Soundtrack for A Star Is Born, and Top Selling Song for “Shallow.” Lady Gaga is also up separately for Top Song Sales Artist.
Back in the running for Top Rock Artist is Queen after their huge year with the release of Bohemian Rhapsody, plus Imagine Dragons who are also nominated for Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Rock Album and have 2 tracks up for Top Rock Song.
