Since releasing her fifth studio album emails i can’t send in 2022, Sabrina Carpenter has continued to slay in every sense of the word. She’s been killing it on the world stage: opening for international legs of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, headlining an impressive 80 shows of her own across North America, and spoiling us by making appearances on stage at our favourite holiday concerts. In fact, in the recent words of her ex Disney-era sweetheart, Bradley Steven Perry, she’s “doing way better than anybody mostly in the world.”

We’re SO glad the visuals for this era keep coming. The ‘Feather’ music video is a pastel church dream, complete with a pink hearse, strutting, mini skirts, boxing gloves, selfies, ribbons, and ….spoiler: there’s even a Mean-Girls-esque truck accident. The energy of the peace that follows feminine rage and recovery is an art form, and Sabrina reminds us that witnessing men receive karma for their bad behaviour is truly a religious experience.

It’s no secret that Sabrina has fast become a fashion icon with the closet of our Polly Pocket/Bratz/Barbie dreams. She’s a certified founder of the popstar renaissance (it’s true, her signature platform boots said so) and her Eras Tour outfits have been serving looks upon looks, with heart cut-outs, diamantes, corsets, and miniskirts in endless stunning colourways. She even created a cute retro cartoon to record these looks for the history books.

Sabrina surprised us back in November by releasing a Christmas EP titled fruitcake, featuring five original holiday tracks. She said what we were all thinking on ‘is it new years yet?’ and sucker punched us with ‘cindy lou who’ (but we can forgive her). Sabrina Carpenter…that’s OUR Santa Claus right there.

Sabrina was given the Rising Star Award at Variety’s 2023 Hitmakers event! In her speech she thanked her lawyer, compared herself to a tortoise and concluded by quoting ‘‘live, laugh, love” (that’s our bestie right there). Sabrina now has TWO delicious fragrances in her Sweet Tooth perfume range – debut and Caramel Dream!! We are absolutely obsessed with the pastel candy-bar packaging, and Sabrina has deffo read the room with all the sugary scents that have been selling out and going viral recently. We wish we could smell it through the screen. 😩
