The pals are teaming up for a good cause on new single ‘Stuck With U’ out THIS Friday, with proceeds from the song being donated to the First Responders Children’s Foundation. The dream team is asking fans to help them create the music video by sending in videos of themselves and their bubbles dancing to a snippet they shared. Get the instrumental here and start uploading them ASAP using the hashtag #StuckWithU and you might make it into the final cut! 📲😱🖤
Blackpink’s Lisa started a hilarious viral meme
Yes we know it’s only May but we’re already calling it – this meme may just be one of the best of the year. It all started (accidentally) thanks to Blackpink’s Lisa wearing thigh-high boots during a recent dance performance. The look went viral on Twitter after it was cropped and uploaded next to an image of Star Trek‘s Spock to make it line up as his legs. Aren’t quite following? Check out the examples below 😂

Drake has dropped a new mixtape and promises to release his 6th album soon…
Surprise! 🤯 If anything could make this self-iso better it’s new music from Drake. On Friday he released the mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes, a precursor to his sixth studio album which he’s promised to drop within the next few months. The new project features the #1 hit ‘Toosie Slide,’ and thirteen other tracks full of inner thoughts, massive hooks, “some leaks,” and a star-studded posse of A-list cameos.
More stars have also been taking on the ‘Toosie Slide’ TikTok dance challenge including BTS’ J-Hope, Justin Bieber and more.
The Weeknd is making a cameo in ‘American Dad!’
The Weeknd will be making a special guest appearance in American Dad! in an episode he co-wrote titled ‘A Starboy Is Born’, set to air in the US on Monday, 4 May. The synopsis of the ep sees “Stan abducting The Weeknd to teach Roger a lesson”. There are also rumours that the episode will include the premiere of a brand new track… 👀
The Killers break down the ‘Mr Brightside’ video
No one is currently coming out of their cage right now (we hope everybody is doing just fine) due to social distancing but The Killers Brandon Flowers and Ronnie Vannucci Jr got together to take part in Vevo’s new Watch This series – getting artists to look back at their career defining music videos. The bandmates revisited their masterpiece debut single ‘Mr Brightside’ from 2004’s Hot Fuss, sharing wild stories about the song’s creation and insightful commentary about the iconic video that started it all.
HAIM are holding a dance class for the routine to new track ‘I Know Alone’
On Thursday HAIM dropped a timely new track, ‘I Know Alone,’ off their upcoming album Women in Music Pt. III (now set for release on 26 June). While the song was originally written about the feeling of loneliness coming home from tour, “been a couple days since I’ve been out,” the sentiment now takes on a whole new meaning. The band shared via Instagram, “’I Know Alone’ was always going to be the next song we released, but it feels eerily appropriate given what’s going on in the world right now. We hope this song keeps you company.”
The accompanying music video once again shows off their impeccable choreography and with fans already attempting to recreate the routine online, the sisters have hosted a virtual dance class via Zoom to teach everyone the moves. Perfect content for your TikTok… 💃
Post Malone broke one of his own records
Last week, Posty’s #1 smash hit ‘Circles’ broke the record for the most weeks spent in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart with a whopping 34 weeks, overtaking his own song ‘Sunflower’ with Swae Lee.
In other Posty news, he gave fans an update about his next album during his Nirvana tribute livestream on YouTube, “We’ve just been kinda f*cking sitting around the house and working on this new album I got coming for y’all. I’m really f*cking excited for it. Trying to put it out as soon as I f*cking can, I’m really proud of the music that we’re making.” *Internally screams*
Hailee Steinfeld has new music on the way
Hailee Steinfeld has announced the title and new release date (8 May) for the first EP of her two-part project Half Written Story. The five track EP is the first full body of work she has released since her 2016 debut and features her latest single, ‘I Love You’s,’ the previously released ‘Wrong Direction,’ as well as new tracks ‘Your Name Hurts,’ ‘END this (L.O.V.E.),’ and ‘Man Up.’ More bops to add to our playlist, yes please 😍
