Happy Halloween music lovers!! We’ve officially survived ~spooky season~ this year, with all of our fave celebs absolutely slaying!

Celebs this year have spoiled us by serving a mix of both old classics and fresh creative fits. Scroll below to see who has been bringing the glamour, the gore, and the best of both worlds. Without further ado, here are the most iconic looks from Halloweekend 2022!

ARIANA GRANDE AND LIZ GILLIES ARE ‘BEST IN SHOW’

Besties and Victorious co-stars Ariana and Liz did not hold back this year, dressing up as Jane Lynch and Jennifer Coolidge’s characters from the early 2000s comedy ‘Best In Show’. Ari is known for being big on Halloween, and she did not disappoint!! The duo spoiled us with not only a photoshoot, but a mini-series of re-enactments from the mockumentary film (the impressions were scarily on point). In their words, it was indeed “very dramatic…very showlike” and dare we say “over the top” and “freakish”!

DEMI LOVATO AS A CORPSE BRIDE

Demi looked stunning in this classic corpse bride Halloween look! Matching with boyfriend Jutes, the pair were seriously giving in their haunting insta photoshoot. They went all out, from the blood-soaked gown, to the flawless dark makeup and icey contact lenses. If looks could kill, we’d all be scared!

SHAWN MENDES AS INDIANA JONES

Shawn has gone for a classic this Halloween, rocking an open khaki vest, a leather cross-shoulder bag, dirty combat boots and the iconic Indiana Jones explorer hat. Though some may say this wasn’t a very ~ adventurous ~ choice, Shawn delivered on the details. He was seen sporting all the accessories, down to a black rope on his waist as he was papped attending Kendall Jenner’s 818 Halloween party with model Winnie Harlow.

FLORENCE WELCH (FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE) AS VAMPIRE LUCY

Florence kept it classy this year, celebrating October 31st at an ‘All Hallow’s dinner’ at Luca restaurant in London. On her classic vibe, Florence killed it as pop culture’s original girl-turned-vampire Lucy Westenra, from Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel ‘Dracula’. Flo captivated us with her elegant silver ‘Spellbinder’ gown, designed by label ‘The Vampire’s Wife’… the perfect Halloween collaboration.

KACEY MUSGRAVES IS GIVING TREE

She is the icon, she is the moment….she is giving: tree. Killing it in one of, if not the, most creative costumes this year, Kace was dressed head-to-toe as the tree on the cover of the American classic children’s picture book ‘The Giving Tree’. Kacey said herself that she “really branched out this year”, and it is deffo paying off, with her look going viral on TikTok (slay).

HALSEY AS THE BLACK SWAN

Halsey went full horror-glam this season, haunting us with not one, but two stunning Black Swan ensembles. The black and white dresses, the feathers, hair, makeup, special effects – she went all in on the harrowingly beautiful and show-stopping details. Halsey doesn’t just look the part either, taking to Instagram with pirouettes and other dramatic ballet poses to bring this costume to life!

NICKI MINAJ AS…..SPICY CINDERELLA?

Queen (or should we say, Princess) Nicki was iconic as ‘Chunderella’ (worth the urban dictionary search), according to her insta caption. Paired with a classic blonde wig, her frilly blue mermaid gown was business in the front, and party in the back! Nicki kept it real for the Barbs this year, paying homage to all the girlies who were partying hard this Halloweekend.

JUSTIN BIEBER GOES EMO

Everyone’s favourite poster boy debuted a daring new look for Halloween, taking a page right out of the old Travis-Barker-brings-back-pop-punk book and rocking a black, edgy fit of thick boots and even thicker eyeliner. And to be honest, he absolutely killed it. We never thought Justin Bieber and punk would appear in the same sentence but we have to admit that him doing a rock album would go hard

MACHINE GUN KELLY AS TOMMY LEE

Somewhat fittingly, one of pop culture’s most chaotic couples dressed up as another chaotic pop culture couple (as well as casually being an R-rated priest and worshipper). Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox emulated an iconic look from none other than Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, a role that isn’t new to MGK as he previously played the Mötley Crüe drummer in the Netflix biography The Dirt back in 2019. From Fox’s blonde wig and make up to MGK’s black hair and sunnies, the two look uncanny as Pam and Tommy (with Fox even joking “are these even costumes“) and we absolutely love it. Chaos and all.

OLVIA RODRIGO AS THE CUTEST BETTY BOOP

For Kendall Jenner’s Halloween party, Olivia Rodrigo transformed into the iconic Betty Boop, complete with stunning big lashes and the trademark jet black bob and red lips. Stylists Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo shared the iconic fit on Instagram and honestly it’s the cutest thing we think we’ll ever see.

So….which costume is the most iconic? We can’t wait to see how these celebs top these looks next year!
