As another decade begins, it’s a time to reflect on some of the artists that blessed us with epic #bangers throughout 2019. J Cole, BENEE, Denzel Curry, Netsky, blackbear, Tame Impala, Billie Eilish, Lewis Capaldi, The Weeknd… the list goes on.

Emerging on the UK and Australian music scene earlier this year, Freya Ridings breakthrough track ‘Castles’ is essentially the love child of Florence + The Machine and Lana Del Rey. Her show-stopping performance at Glastonbury earned her the title of YouTube Artist on The Rise for 2019, and The Times even classed her as “The new Adele…”

If you haven’t heard of Inhaler, they are about to become your next favourite indie band. Real #coolguys. Musical talent must run in their blood, as front man Elijah Hewson is none other than Bono’s son (that’s right, U2 Bono). Off the back of a sold out European tour, 2020 is set to bring even more live shows, tours, music and tight leather pants.

If you don’t know, you’re about to know. One of the hottest bands coming out of the UK right now, Easy Life is already one of VEVO’s DSCVR artists, plus they’ve been added to MTV Push 2020. This 5-piece band is the perfect blend of funk, RnB and hip-hop with a dash of jazz for good measure. Do not sleep on this one.

Emerging soul singer Celeste is set for a massive 2020. But don’t just take our word for it as she was officially named winner of the BRITs Rising Star award for 2020. If previous winner of the award is anything to go (Florence + The Machine, Adele, Sam Smith), Celeste is about to become the next big thing.
