Lil Tecca

Lil Tecca (born Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe) has just turned 17 and his career serves as proof that the kids are the future – especially when it comes to the rap game. Another overnight success, his break out hit ‘Ransom’  took him from a high school junior to a Billboard top five rapper with over 200 million streams on the hit alone. Catching the attention of his rapping peer, Juice Wrld (2018’s Breakout Artist), Juice joined the official remix of ‘Ransom’. The Queens-born rapper has stayed in the limelight since with his laid back attitude and quirky social media content, attracting a mass 1.8 million followers on Instagram alone. But he’s not all talk – his debut album playfully named ‘We Love You Tecca’ debuted in at number four on the Billboard charts just this month. With his debut album fresh on listeners ears, get ready for the aftermath as this 17 year old takes over the world – before he’s even graduated from high school.

 

Social House

You may have heard of the name after their collaboration with pop princess Ariana Grande, but the duo known as Social House also undoubtedly hold their own as a group. The pop duo from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania were stand-alone writers and producers  who were working with Grande all the way back in 2015, before being bought together as a duo and signed by Scooter Braun & Interscope in 2018. They’ve have been biding their time, releasing a plethora of music ranging from upbeat R&B numbers to sweet heartfelt ballads. With the release of their new EP ‘Everything Changed…’ as well as joining Ari on her ‘Sweetener’ world tour, Social House are more than ready for their time in the spotlight – and so are their ever growing fan base.

 

Denzel Curry

Denzel Curry caught the attention of the music world when his high energy track ‘Ultimate’ came onto the scene, boosting him into the spotlight in 2015 at the young age of 20. This was not a case of getting lucky on the first go – the Florida native started rapping in sixth grade and put out his first album at just eighteen. Fast forward to 2019, Curry has had one of his biggest years to date. In 2018, he shared a prolific three part album ‘TA1300’, which showed a dark but in depth understanding of the modern world, a welcome addition to his discography. Come May 2019, he shared ‘ZUU’, another personal album where Denzel Curry impressed the world with his story telling and impeccable freestyles. In addition to touring the world (he was a guest of pop superstar Billie Eilish), becoming an essential in the festival circuit (most recently, an electrifying set at Lollapalooza) and collaborating with the best in the field like A$AP Ferg, Rick Ross, and JID, Denzel Curry is quickly becoming one of the most talented rappers that lives up to his own hype.

Tyron Frampton aka slowthai is a 24 year old who has become one of Britain’s most notable rap exports. His power is in the universality of his appeal – the Grime rapper collaborated with one of electronica’s brightest stars Flume this year, as well as breaking Liam Gallagher’s heart by turning down a support slot on the legendary Oasis rockers’ tour to join Brockhampton, the famous genre-spanning rap collective. His debut album ‘ Nothing Great About Britain’ received rave reviews from the likes of The Guardian and Dazed, and is being praised as ‘the sound of Britain today’. The 24 year old rapper is wise beyond his years, and his album comments insightfully & wittily on the political turmoil of his home country. His growing discography along with his creative, boundary pushing music videos indicate a promising and powerful career for this creative artist.
