Last nights AMAs was one for the books! With historic wins, iconic hosts and performances from BTS, Bad Bunny and more. 2021’s AMAs had us on the edge of our seats the entire time! For her first AMA outing, our girl Olivia Rodrigo led the pack with *SEVEN* big noms incl. Artist of the Year and Album of the Year – taking home her first-ever AMA for New Artist of the Year! Did we mention her gut-wrenching performance of traitor?? We’re still processing! 😭
As per, Taylor Swift broke her own historic record for most AMA wins in history (34!) – snagging the awards for both Favourite Female Pop Artist and Favourite Pop Album for Evermore. Is there anything she can’t do?? 💅
After cleaning house at last years show, The Weeknd returned to the AMAs with a total of six noms – taking home the coveted Favourite Male R&B Artist award. Other major wins include Drake’s AMA win for Favourite Male Hip-Hop Artist and Machine Gun Kelly’s award for Favourite Rock Artist. How good?!
